Sharif made the remarks on Thursday while he was referring to the inauguration earlier in the day of the 100 MW Polan-Gabd electricity transmission line between Iran and Pakistan.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony which was attended by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, the Pakistan's prime minister said that in the history of Iran and Pakistan two states have enjoyed brotherly and friendly relations.
Sharif said that the people of Gwadar Port in Pakistan will benefit from the launch of the Polan-Gabd electricity transmission line.
"I would like to thank the Minister of Energy of Iran and Pakistan, and most of all, the President of Iran, who made a lot of efforts in this project," he said, adding, "we will eliminate all the existing challenges."
adding that talks were also exchanged to benefit from the capacity of solar energy to produce electricity, and the President of Iran agreed to this action without any delay.
Iran and Pakistan opened the Mand-Pishin border market on Thursday as authorities said five other such markets will be opened on the border between the two countries.
The sustenance market is expected to provide a thriving platform for increased cross-border trade between the two neighbors while fostering economic growth in border regions of Iran and Pakistan.
